Reviewing our targets and Setting 2019 Goals

Reviewing our targets and Setting 2019 Goals- laura-rose-creative

I almost can’t believe it has been a whole year since we set our last set of business goals in this post!

But time trucks on, and as such it is time for us to review how we did on our 2018 goals, and set some for 2019!

So how did we do? We said that in 2018 we would:

1. NURTURE OUR EXISTING COMMUNITY

We sent out regular newsletters full of news and tips, and launched our shop full of workbooks and freebies! Our social media following is steadily growing and we love all of you that slide into our DMs on the regular just to say hey!

2. COLLABORATE WITH OUR CLIENTS

Our new trello system, dropbox and email check-ins mean that you guys have kept us inundated with your plans! We’ve also had lots of lovely coffee meetings and phone calls to work with clients on their own targets and goal setting, and it has been brilliant!

3. PROVIDE A SERVICE THAT IS TOP NOTCH

Well… I like to think of all our reviews and that fact that our turnover doubled on last year means we smashed this target!

4. CREATE A SPRINGBOARD FOR OTHER INSPIRING FREELANCERS AND SMALL BUSINESSES

In 2018 we worked with 4 other amazingly talented freelancers, worked with our dream local businesses and donated our christmas card fund to charity.

How do you think we did!? Knocked it out the park right?!

HERE'S THE ANCHOR & DASH GOALS FOR 2019:

  1. Be more visible.

We’re kicking off the year with a fabulous photoshoot in London so that you can see more of the face behind the biz! I’m also plegding to do more stories, put out MORE content and generally own this amazing space we’ve built.

  2. Mentor some amazing entrepreneurs

I am THRILLED to be able to share that this year I will become a qualified EMCC (European Mentoring & Coaching Council) Senior Practitioner Coach and Mentor! What does that mean for A&D? The possibilities and opportunities for more support we will be able to offer current and new clients are incredibly exciting. I can’t wait to get out there and meet lots of inspiring people.

  3. Continue working with our team to support more incredible small businesses.

Another target is to keep reiterating our mission statement: the aspect of Anchor & Dash we think sets us apart from everyone else. You see, here at A&D we’re all about remaining true to our core values - no shortcuts, no quick-fixes, no botched jobs or bots but 100% focus on meaningful, authentic growth for your business. Real, purposeful growth; the kind that equals clients rather than lurkers and is measurable in terms of sales rather than meaningless stats. That takes thorough research, personalised attention and thoughtful collaboration - all services which we pride ourselves on providing.

Right then, let’s all go and smash 2019 shall we?!
